Personalized Still Life Art-Making followed by an English Tea

Join an intimate group, seven maximum students for an afternoon art-making and tea party workshop.
Choose a special tea-cup or mug that reflects the characteristic memories of your special person.
(If you don't have any cups, there will be available choices).
With Ann's art help, create a larger than life still life painting or drawing, incorporating dynamic color choices that echo the special characteristics of your chosen special family member or friend. For example, my mom loved lemons and could be alemon with whom to interact! You bet, a lemon design, will be a theme on my special cup and maybe background.
Within our beautiful Aptos studio, you'll receive individual support to make your drawn or painted tea-cup/mug piece artistically dramatic and expressive. At 2:45 pm we'll come downstairs to enjoy a delicious English tea served in the artistic open-air living room of our hostess.
Each participant, will have a special 10 minute session, to share characteristics and memories of their chosen person,while we spot lite their individual cup- still life art piece.
At 4:30 pm, goodbyes, photos, and return to the studio to clean up our supplies and wrap our teacups and paintings for their return home.
Preparation:
- 1. Your choice between dry or wet media, no oils please.
- Table easels welcome to bring.
- Recommend size of support, canvas or paper or board.
- At least 11 x 14 in. One or two pieces.
- Cover sheet or box for your finished piece.
- Come with a chosen person and a list of their characteristics
- Your special drinking vessel if you have it.6. Come with a willingness to share precious memories and translate those into a visual teacup- mug relic memory.
